Dogpatch A Place I Remember

Dogpatch: A Place I Remember is the first in the series of Memoirs by Clemon Hodge. It's an endearing story of young Jitterbug growing up in Dogpatch, a small neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio.

Reviews & Commentary

About Dogpatch:
"Hodge grew up on Little Avenue in a pocket of Franklin Township, just west of Green Lawn Cemetery, that some people called Dogpatch (no doubt inspired by the ramshackle neighborhood in the old comic strip Li’l Abner).  Dogpatch is also the title of his memoir, a slim, self-published book of memories both searing and sentimental."

Joe Blundo,
The Columbus Dispatch

About Goodbye Goliath:

“Clem Hodge is a gentle soul, and he tells the story of his 40-year addiction with openness and candor. Allowing all his warts to show, he takes the reader with him from his brief teenage marriage and parenthood through his wanderings to the west coast and Miami to his return home to Columbus and the pivotal event that turned his life in a new direction. Throughout his story, you will be rooting for this man to find his way."
